Stop At: Pagoda della Pace, Trazzera Fondo Canicarao, 97013, Comiso, Sicily Italy

The Peace Pagoda of Comiso is located in the Iblei mountains from where it dominates the plain of Comiso and the former missile base.

It is 16 meters high with a diameter of 15 meters, entirely white with a round dome surmounted by a pinnacle.

The Pagoda of Comiso is the first (and only) Buddhist pagoda in Italy and one of the very few made in Europe (there are only four in Europe while there are eighty in the world)

After crossing the Iblei park, between paths and nature we reach the highest part, where you will enjoy a breathtaking view. Day permitting we will also admire the etna.

Monterosso almo is one of the 3 mountain municipalities of the province of Ragusa, as well as being rich in culture, baroque and crafts, it is part of the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

The lake is formed by the waters of the Irminio river whose course has been blocked by a dam to create an artificial basin for irrigation purposes.

It is located in a naturalistic context of great beauty with banks that are very jagged within a wooded area.

Ragusa Ibla is the ancient historical center of the city of Ragusa. It is famous all over the world for over fifty churches and numerous palaces, testimony of the highest expression of the Baroque in Sicily. The small village of Ibla dominates the surrounding valley, with its small houses and narrow streets dominated by the majestic Duomo of San Giorgio, the highest expression of the ibleo baroque.
