Impressions of history

I am Giuseppe Baldinelli and I have always been attracted by books: since I was a child I could not explain to myself how all those sheets could be joined together with a simple thread! This interest led me to study the art of craft binding and to create, with my wife Rita and my son Jacopo, a craft workshop: Ikunico. Here we produce books and objects in real leather, with certified quality and guaranteed in origin, treated according to the most ancient tanning techniques of Italy exclusively with natural extracts. Our skin thus reflects not only our tradition and material culture, but also the colors of the land of our Umbria, lit by the vivid tones of browns and reds.

Itinerary

Together we will make 3 leather objects: a diary, a book and a photo album.
You can choose the type and color of material to be processed and, under our guide, learn all the steps for the realization of the products that, once completed, will be delivered to the participants as a reminder of the experience lived.
