Islands and Caves a week at the Pontine Islands

We will travel between some of the most beautiful islands of the Tyrrhenian Sea and probably of the Meditterranean, visiting unique places, even outside the most common tourist routes. We will discover the sensations and colors offered by the caves at sea level, and with a little luck we will swim among the dolphins in the blue of the open sea. In the evening, we will be able to appreciate the beauty of the villages that host us, and participate in the nightlife that is found there in summer.

Itinerary

Departure from San Felice Circeo on Saturday morning, the stages will be the islands of Palmarola and Ponza for the first day, where we will visit the caves of the Faraglione di Mezzogiorno and the Grotta Azzurra, and the famous Chiaia di Luna beach in Ponza. At night we will be anchored at anchor in Ponza. On the second day we will visit cala del cuore and the natural arch in Ponza and we will move towards Ventotene, where we will arrive before sunset. For the night we will be moored in the port of Ventotene to walk in the quaint village. On the third day we will bathe in Ventotene and we will also visit the adjacent islet of Santo Stefano. In the afternoon from Ventotene we will reach the island of Ischia, and the port of Sant’Angelo, where we will sleep. The fourth day will be dedicated to visiting some characteristic points of the Island of Ischia, and we will return to Sant’Angelo for the night. On the fifth day we will leave at dawn towards Ventotene, trying to intercept the different herds of dolphins of this stretch of sea. We will spend the afternoon and evening again in Ventotene. The sixth day we leave for the island of Zannone, where we will sleep at anchor. On the seventh day, return to Circeo to visit the promontory and disembark.
