We are going to purchase for fresh ingredients, taste products from vendors: cheese, prosciutto, pizza...
After shopping we'll go to my cooking school, One Day Chef is in the the only facility in Rome set up to give cooking classes for tourists.
Private class with this menu: Ravioli, Tagliolini cacio e pepe and tiramisu.
My culinary school was created with these purpose: helping people on making their own italian meal individually and really hands on; so I set up my facility with individual stations with cooktops.
It's not the average cooking class in which you make the pasta dough and someone else make the sauce... everybody makes pasta and sauce from scratch individually...
If the class is 4 participants, there will be 4 sauce pans simmering!

Market tour and exclusive cooking class
First of all we meet at Esquilino Market and have a walk inside while shopping the ingredients we need and tasting products from vendors.
after market we go to my school and cook together.
This is a private experience, just you and the chef.
Everybody has a work station with a cooktop to let everybody cook individually following instructions step by step and after that you get to eat your well deserved meal!
Obviously practice makes perfect, so I will email you the recipes of what we do together in order to replicate that in your home.

• Handmade ravioli stuffed with lemon ricotta and fresh tomato sauce from scratch - You are going to make your ravioli from scratch: you make your dough and your tomato sauce from scratch... you won't share the stove with someone else
• Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe - One of most iconic roman pasta... you are going to make your fresh spaghetti noodles with cacio e pepe sauce
• Traditional Tiramisu - My favorite dessert...You make yours on individual servings... easy to make but delicious...
