Stories of ghosts, legends, strange people who populate the city at night making it even more mysterious and fascinating.
Talking statues, courtesans, fantastic creatures that live in places where reality and legend merge. An activity that sheds light on a different city, normally invisible to visitors.

The tour can be done only with the use of the iPad, containing the map with the itinerary of the places to visit, the quizzes to be solved at each stage, the use of augmented reality, the sending of audio photos and videos; in this case, the meeting with the team leader will be limited to starting and closing the activity.

But if required, a tour leader will accompany the group during the tour to discover the most mysterious places in Rome.

The activity can be changed completely according to the needs of the group.

born to be a pagan temple, it was dedicated to all gods. It also represents a symbol dear to the Masons.
The legends:
1- According to a Roman popular tradition the shallow moat surrounding the Pantheon building was not excavated by human hands. It is said that one day the devil awaited the pledge of the magician Pietro Bailardo for his services. The latter once out of the Pantheon paid the devil with only four nuts and then took refuge in the church. So that the devil, angry at the outrage he suffered, sank among the flames in the bowels of the Earth, creating the furrow called the "moat of the devil".
2- The Phantom of Umberto Primo
Not everyone knows that today the pantheon houses the bodies of the King of Italy. They are buried in some niches that once housed the planetary deities (Moon, Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn). Legend has it that the ghost of Umberto I, the king murdered in Monza in 1900, appears in the Pantheon in some special circumstances. In 1930, for example, the ghost of the King approached a guard soldier to give him a message that has remained secret to this day.
Hidden above one of the capitals of the columns that form the pronaos (entrance to the temple) is a very small barberina bee engraved in the stone, symbol of Pope Urban VIII Barberini who had wanted the reconstruction of the column. This detail, often overlooked by tourists, must be carefully discovered by looking upwards.

Stop At: Museo delle Anime del Purgatorio, Lungotevere Prati 12, 00193 Rome Italy

Inside the neo-gothic church that stands on the Lungotevere, there is a really special small museum, as here some testimonies of the afterlife of the deceased and their contacts with the living relatives were collected at the end of the nineteenth century. The initiative was taken by a French missionary who, after a brutal fire in the church, thought he saw on the walls the suffering face of a deceased soul, imprisoned in the flames. He decided to turn Europe to collect these particular testimonies, gathered here and jealously guarded.

Stop At: Tomba di Nerone, Via Cassia Strada Statale 2, Rome Italy

When the mad emperor was buried, a nut was planted on the earth that covered the tomb. It is said that demons chose that place as their usual meeting place, and later, even the famous Roman witches decided to hold their meetings there. But Pope Pasquale II, in 1099, following a dream in which the Madonna appeared to him, thought of dispersing the ashes of the deceased emperor in the Tiber, breaking down the fatal walnut and building a church on the site that housed the tomb. Even today the main altar is located right where the diabolical walnut was.

Among the most mysterious places in Rome and for all lovers of noir, a view inside the Crypt of the Capuchin Friars, under the Church of Santa Maria Immacolata in Via Veneto is a must. That's right, the way of the "Dolce Vita" hosts this particular place, now a museum, where in addition to knowing the long history of the Franciscan order and being able to admire a painting by Caravaggio, you can admire a masterpiece that will leave you speechless.

Stop At: Palazzo Spada, Piazza Capo di Ferro 13, 00186 Rome Italy

It is a gallery that seems to be 37 meters long, when it is only 8. The statue at the bottom seems to be life-size, but it is 60 cm high. We are therefore faced with an illusion due to the fact that the plans converge in a single vanishing point. As the ceiling gradually descends downwards, the floor goes up. It was built by Borromini with the help of Father Giovanni Maria from Bitonto between 1652 and 1653, probably to signify the moral deception and illusion of earthly greatness.

Stop At: Palazzo Zuccari, Rome, Via Gregoriana, 28, 00187 Roma RM, Italy

repeated echoing even in the windows that flank it. A feature that earned the building the nickname Casa dei Mostri. It is an extravagant artistic whim, built by Federico Zuccari at the beginning of the 17th century. In fact, the artist wanted to build a sumptuous residence that testified to its importance. For the monstrous mouths he was inspired by the Garden of Bomarzo. Their aim was to amaze the visitor that, once they crossed the threshold, he would then be struck by the contrast with the paradisiacal garden.

It is a Roman construction that resembles a chair with armrests, but with a closer look it resembles a throne with a high back and equally pronounced armrests. Before the urbanization of Rome, the "Devil's Chair" was in the open countryside and inflicted great fear on all the peasants.
