Neapolitan Food Safari

We begin at the Cathedral, where we will marvel at the beauty of its neogothic facade and hear the story of the miracle of the blood of San Gennaro.
If we get the nibbles, we’ll treat ourselves to some mozzarella di bufala before we walk on down Spaccanapoli and the atmospheric street of San Gregorio Armeno.
When, at a certain point, the unmistakable aroma of Pizza envelops us, we’ll know we’ve arrived at Via Tribunali, the main part of the Decumano - a temple to the pizza and Neapolitan street food.
If you manage to resist the culinary delights of Decumano maggiore, we will carry on our way towards Piazza San Domenico Maggiore and Piazza del Gesù, where the unique architecture of the Church of Gesù Nuovo dominates the square.
On our way out of Piazza del Gesù, we’ll stop to look at the Santa Chiara monastery, and as there’s always room for dessert, we’ll give in to the sin of gluttony with a delicious Babà. Maybe we’ll even follow it up with a cold Limoncello to help us digest!
