L’antica città di Poseidonia, oggi Paestum, fu fondata dai coloni Achei provenienti da Sibari agli albori del VI secolo a.C. Ad oggi, la sua storia secolare è testimoniata da eccezionali evidenze archeologiche.

The ancient city of Poseidonia, today Paestum, was founded by the Achaean settlers from Sibari at the dawn of the sixth century BC. To date, its secular history is testified by exceptional archaeological evidence. The Archaeological Park of Paestum, with its excavations, offers the visitor the visit of two sacred areas, with the northern and southern sanctuary, of the Roman Forum (the ancient Greek agora) with its public facilities, the area housing, the spa area and the defensive walls. Our tour includes a visit to the archaeological area and the museum and a meal in an organic dairy.

Il Museo è aperto dalle 8:30 alle 19:30 (emissione ultimo biglietto d'ingresso ore 18:50). 

1 e 3 lunedì del mese dalle 8:30 alle 13:40 (emissione ultimo biglietto d'ingresso ore 13:00) 

Area Archeologica (i Templi) 

è aperta tutti i giorni dalle 8:30 alle 19:30 (emissione ultimo biglietto d'ingresso ore 18.50); dopo il tramonto la visita è limitata all'area del Santuario meridionale (tempio di Nettuno e Basilica).
