Path of the Gods Hiking Tour from Sorrento

Do the Amalfi Coast on foot, and discover one of Italy’s most picturesque walking trails, the Path of the Gods, with our professional hiking guide. With trails carved into the cliffs, the route is loved for its sweeping views that stretch over the coastline. Admire the scenery as you hike, a 3.5-hour approx trip route from Bomerano to Nocelle, during the tour the guide will teach you more about the Amalfi Coast region. Private Shared Transport service to/from Sorrento is optional and available to be booked here online.

Leave Sorrento and travel to reach the small village of Bomerano, not far from Positano, from where your 3.5 hours (approx) hike takes place. In Bomerano you will meet the guide that will introduce you to security and safety rules before you start the tour.

With your guide, you’ll then set off to explore the Path of the Gods, a stunning trail named after the Roman temples that once lined the route.

The trail hugs the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast, setting you up for impressive panoramas that stretch over craggy gorges and sleepy hamlets down to the sea. Have your camera handy for photos as you walk along the trail starting from Bomerano and then ending in Nocelle, a little place just above Positano.

At the end of the tour return to Sorrento, either with public transport or with our private driver that will wait for you at the meeting point (the private transfer service is on request and must be booked online at least 48h before the date of the excursion).

The Path of the Gods is now fully open again, it was temporarily and partially closed by local authority, near by Nocelle area, due to a landslide.
