The PIAZZANO Farm is much more than a simple company, it represents the extraordinary passion for the wine world of an entire family, that of BETTARINI. In 1948, Otello Bettarini, a well-known industrialist from Prato with a passion for astronomy, fell in love with these places to the point of deciding to move there permanently. In this village, among these hills surrounded by greenery south of Empoli, he found the right one astral conjunction to undertake what would become the main activity of this family, the VITICULTURE. He directed all his energies in an attempt to make known and enhance this land, in promoting its excellence.

Now in its third generation Rolando, Ilaria and Michela continue their work with passion and tenacity handed down, also making use of the collaboration of valid technicians of the sector because theirs intent is always to guarantee the quality of the product by enhancing those that are potential of the territory in the strongly desired respect of an eco-sustainability that maintains the this land is as healthy as possible, but with an eye to new technologies and needs of the market.

With the wine tour at Piazzano you'll be able to choose among 2 different options

Basic wine tasting: Welcoming and Visit of the Farm with walk in the vineyard and description of the various grapes cultivated. Visit of the winery and the vinsantaia. Tasting of 4 wines including white, rosé or red chosen from our labels. The tasting is accompanied by crackers or breadsticks

Superior wine tasting: The same tour of the basic wine tasting experience but accompanied by a "tagliere misto", with tuscan salami and cold cuts, cheese and pickled vegetables
