This excursion allows you to have a full day of free time in Florence to experience the many galleries, the outstanding buildings and churches or to just simply shop, it is completely up to you!

Stop At: Leaning Tower of Pisa, Piazza del Duomo Piazza dei Miracoli, 56126, Pisa Italy

You will be met at the port of La Spezia by a Cruising Excursions representative who will guide you to your air conditioned transportation ready to commence the transfer to the City of Florence then to the City of Pisa.

A Full Day is required to see the surrounding town of Florence.

Our driver then takes you through the beautiful Tuscan countryside (approximately 2 hours) to the fascinating city of Florence. Built on both sides of the Arno River, Florence has had a significant impact not only on the culture of Italy but that of Europe as well.

Heading into Florence’s city centre you will see amongst other sights:

Piazza del Duomo and Giotto’s Bell Tower
Piazza della Signoria (Palazzo Vecchio)
Piazza della Repubblica
The legendary Ponte Vecchio (The Old Bridge)
You will have approximatley 2 - 2.5 hours to spend in Florence.

After free time in Florence, you will head back to your transportation and head towards the quaint town of Pisa with the magnificent Leaning Tower of Pisa and Baptistery. You can only have a short stop of around 30 minutes in Pisa due to the time constraints and getting back to the port, however there will be plenty of time for photo opportunities.
