Known as one of the most livable cities in Italy, in the last few years Reggio (that’s how locals call it) has started attracting a growing number of international tourists looking for a real Italian environment.

This activity will give you the chance to meet the local people and discover the amazing food shops of old town, where you will taste the most famous local products, such as Parmigiano-Reggiano, balsamic vinegar, erbazzone etc.

After a brief city walk tour, will take you to the food district where you will find plenty of food shops, coffee bars, bakeries, deli and pastry shops.

Here you will experience the best local enogastronomic tastings.

We will introduce the itinerary to our guests at our meeting point. During this brief, visitors can taste an energetic breakfast with juice and pastries from one of the most beloved pastry lab in Reggio Emilia.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Piazza Prampolini, Reggio Emilia Italy

Departing from the meeting point, in a while visitors will be in Prampolini Square, the main one in Reggio Emilia. Here they can see the cathedral, baptistery and the town hall where the italian flag was born.

Stop At: Piazza San Prospero, Reggio Emilia Italy

Known as "the little square" or "lion's square" and visitors can understand why in a while!

Locals love this place a lot and spend their time here for eating or shopping around.

From this point, we will start with our tastings in 2 botteghe (food shops), starting from two real local products:
• Parmigiano-Reggiano with balsamic vinegar
• Pasta fresca take-away (tortelli)
