The immersive rico-reconstructions of the main sites of Ortigia and Siracusa, such as the temple of Athena and the Ionic temple in Piazza Duomo, the temple of Apollo in Largo XXV Luglio and the Greek Theater of Ierone II in the Archaeological Park of Neapolis will be accessible through viewers for the latest generation of virtual reality.
You will see reconstructions of the Syracusan temples and the Greek Theater, watching them immersed in a reconstructed virtual space with multilingual description and environmental sound, for a perfect sense of immersiveness.

Itinerary

Wearing state-of-the-art visors, you will be greeted by immersive reconstructions of the main points of interest in the city of Syracuse: Athenaion, Artemision, Oikos, Apollonion, Greek Theater, created with the combination of live footage and virtual reality. You will find yourself immersed in a virtual space in which the reconstructed monument is shown as it should have appeared, during the heyday of the Greek Syracuse.
The images and reconstructions are enriched with environmental sounds, and there is a brief and engaging description, in Italian or English, that tells the monument and the historical context of reference.
