Enjoy the Eternal city with our Taste of Rome, dedicated to Clients in transit at Civitavecchia with their cruise ship. The tour starts at the Civitavecchia Port (suggested time 07.30/08:00am) in order to reach Rome within 9am. The suggested itinerary includes the Basilica of San Paolo Fuori le Mura, Colosseum (external), Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Navona Square, St.Peter Square. The tour is conducted by local English speaking driver who knows the story of Rome and with pleasure he introduce the wonders of Rome. Kindly note that the driver is not a guide and he cannot escort Clients into any monuments and sites.

Clients can vsit the Colosseum (external) and the Arch of Constantine. Its real name is the Flavio Amphitheatre, but is more widely known as the Colosseum, because of the large bronze statue of Nerone which was placed in the second century AD . The exterior consists of four architectural orders superimposed. Even today, the Colosseum is the largest amphitheater in the world, used in ancient times as the place for fights between gladiators and hunting simulations involving of wild animals.

Clients can visit the Pantheon inside. Kindly remind that being the Pantheon a church, admittance is allowed only to visitors appropriately dressed. Piazza Navona has two fountains: the Fountain of the Moor and the fountain of Neptune. And then ... the excellent ice cream at Tre Scalini!

The Spanish Steps (Italian: Scalinata di Trinità dei Monti) are a set of steps in Rome, Italy, climbing a steep slope between the Piazza di Spagna at the base and Piazza Trinità dei Monti, dominated by the Trinità dei Monti church at the top. At the top, the stairway ramp up the Pincio which is the Pincian Hill. From the top of the steps the Villa Medici can be reached. In the Piazza di Spagna at the base is the Early Baroque fountain called Fontana della Barcaccia ("Fountain of the longboat"

St. Peter's Square is a large plaza located directly in front of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City, the papal enclave inside Rome. Both the square and the basilica are named after Saint Peter, an apostle of Jesus considered by some to be the first Pope. At the centre of the square is an ancient Egyptian obelisk, erected at the current site in 1586. Gian Lorenzo Bernini designed the square almost 100 years later, including the massive Doric colonnades, four columns deep, which embrace visitors in "the maternal arms of Mother Church". A granite fountain constructed by Bernini in 1675 matches another fountain designed by Carlo Maderno in 1613
