Tenuta Monte Gorna is a family business driven by a pure passion for the land and for wine, a passion handed down from father to son for three generations. The second generation is credited with restoring the family-owned land, which they entirely replanted with vines. The mission of the third generation is to raise awareness about the volcanic wines of Tenuta Monte Gorna among Italian and foreign consumers through their participation in Vinitaly 2012. The company also took part in the event dedicated to "under 30" Sicilian winemakers organised by the publication Cronache di Gusto in collaboration with the Regional Institute of Sicilian Wines and Oils, as part of the same event held in Verona.

Tenuta Monte Gorna is located on Mt. Etna, at an altitude of 760 metres, in the Càrpene district , one of Etna's 133 districts where DOC wines are produced, along the Etna Wine Road. It is a place of untamed beauty, immersed in the regional park. The company is named after one of the extinguished craters that surround Etna, tracing the outline of the south-east side of the volcano.

Standard tasting: Tasting of our Labels in combination with the most genuine flavors of the Sicilian gastronomic tradition: white Olives, black olives, Salami, Cheese, spreadable cheese with jelly of wine Etna DOC red and white DOC Etna, crostini bread with extra virgin olive oil.

Tasting with lunch: This proposal provides for the possibility of being able to integrate some Sicilian dishes to the tasting with the possibility of stopping for a tasty and convivial Light Lunch in order to enhance the inseparable combination of wine and food: White Olives, Black Olives, Salami, Cheese, spreadable cheese with jelly Etna Rosso DOC and DOC white Etna, Caponata, vegetables omelette and Sicilian crushed.
