Day 1: Welcome / Welcome Cocktails

Stop At: Vicopisano, Vicopisano, Province of Pisa, Tuscany
 Waiting for you at the arrival terminal will be Flavors and Motors staff will welcome you to your Italian Adventure and take care of your transfer to Vicopisano. You will be delivered to your accommodation, located in the medieval village - Vicopisano.

Time to get you settled in your home away from home for the next 11 days.

A Welcome Cocktail Party with various flavors / flavors of Italy and your partner plus your Tour Leaders from Flavors and Motors. We will continue the fast with a typical italian dinner. Welcome to Sapori e Motori Italian Adventures in Tuscany.

Day 2: New knowledge. New emotions

Tastes and Engines this morning will get you settled in the saddle.

Make friends with your new two wheeled partners, that's why Flavors and Engines put it on the road and test its performance. We will visit some villages, and stop for lunch on our way back to home base, Vicopisano. You can do some exploring if you wish or enjoying a life with an aperitif before finding somewhere for dinner. The team from Engines and Flavors Italian adventures will give you some ideas.

Day 3: Monastery & Vespas - Piaggio Museum-

Stop At: Pontedera, Pontedera, Province of Pisa, Tuscany
and know the Vespa Museum.
Day three, Sapori e Motori Italian Adventure, guests start with breakfast. We warm our engines and head to the ancient villages of the Pisan mountains. Admire the beauty of medieval buildings before Engines and Flavors lead you towards Calci (PI) with it's Natural History Museum located in an old Carthusian monastery. We visited the monastery and the cells where the monks sang their vespas, studied and worked. See where the invention of the motel room service hutch could have begun. A building dating back to 1300 a.c ..

Lunch with the gang, after a typical Italian meal and a good wine and enjoying the flavors / flavors of Italy we are back in the saddle. Fire up engines / engines and set a new route to Pontedera famous two wheels, the Vespa by Piaggio.

In the evening return home. Relax for a while before we meet for an aperitif in the square. Engines and flavors take you to dinner.

Day 4: Ride and visit Pisa along the Coast of Livorno

Stop At: Pisa, Pisa, Province of Pisa, Tuscany
Good morning riders, after breakfast with Italian and international flavors / flavors is the time to aim our forks of our bikes / engines and head to one of the most historic Tuscany cities, famous for its Leaning Tower, Pisa! Birthplace of the father of modern science; Galileo Galileo. One of the four maritime republics of Italy. Pisa with its world-famous bell tower and its impressive square of miracles is included in the UNESCO heritage.

Pisa is home to three of the most important universities in Italy and Europe; the University of Pisa, the Scuola Normale Superiore and the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.

After lunch on the Tuscan coast we return to Vicopisano (PI) through the typical and picturesque Pisan hills where you can taste the local wine San Torpè.

In the evening, dinner and relaxation.

Day 5: Over the hills to Volterra and "Theater of Silence" by Andrea Bocelli

Stop At: Volterra, Volterra, Province of Pisa, Tuscany
Breakfast, prepare our motorcycles / engines and go. It is time to head towards the alabaster town, Volterra (Link), to place full of history, the cradle of the Etruscan civilization, dating back to the Iron Age. Here we will see works by alabaster artisans. A guided tour of Volterra will help you appreciate the medieval villages during the dark periods of time. Engines and Flavors Italian Adventures will guide you through some of the narrow lanes and steps back in time.

Treat your self to a typical Italian cappucino flavors and a pastry.

During the ride up and down the hills we will see small villages full of history and culture, among them is the now famous Lajatico. Here we will discover that the "Theater of Silence" is the reason. The Theater of Silence, it is an amphitheater, it is the peculiarity of being created by exploiting the nature, making it unique in its kind. Andrea Bocelli had the vision and in partnership with the local bank helped create this space.

Tonight you may want to have your pizza ridden to join you for a pizza. Engines and flavors are always on hand to give you tips, pointers or ideas.

Day 6: ourney through the Five Lands of Liguria the "Cinque Terre"

Stop At: Cinque Terre, Cinque Terre, Italian Riviera, Liguria
Breakfast. This daySapori e Motori Italian Adventures in Tuscany dedicated todays ride into another region - Liguria. We are going to cross the region, and from Tuscany we move to Liguria, here we will be mesmerized by the beauty of the Ligurian sea, the 5 Terre; Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore, all part of the UNESCO heritage.

After two-hours on your bike, stop and take in the sea, the sun and the wild beauty of the area. Have a nap in the sun or cool off with a swim and splash on the beach. Tastes / flavors in this area are famous for fish, mussels and pesto sauce. Have lunch, return home to get ready for tonights' spectacular play of colors and lights. The small town of San Giovanni alla Vena will put on a show for us. Every year at this time there is the village festival. Your team from Flavors and Engines will get you there.

Day 7: Hum over the Hills and the highway to Siena / Guided tour of San Gimignano

Day 8: On board, drive and visit of the Ducati factory, to Tour of the Ducati Museum

Stop At: Bologna, Bologna, Province of Bologna, Emilia-Romagna
Tour on two wheels, visit the Ducati Museum.

In fact, we will ride along one of the most beaten roads of the weekend, the Muraglione pass, which divides Tuscany from Emila Romagna and we head towards Bologna, the city of tortellini . But Italy is not just culture and good food, it is also technology and design.

Meeting point for breakfast.

Let's go / Let us ride to visit the city of Lucca, surrounded by its imposing medieval walls. Guided tour of the city. Then we remount our steeds to climb

across and over the Apuane Mountains to head towards Versilia.

A stop at Ponte della Maddalena or Ponte del Diavolo. Tradition has it that this bridge was erected in one night by the Devil, in exchange for the first soul to cross it. The villagers, wanting to sacrifice anyone - sent a dog.

On the way we will visit the village of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. Lunch is scheduled in the village of Colonnata, where we will taste the local flavors and flavors of the area.

Day 10: Ride among vineyards & Taste Florence.

Stop At: Chianti Road, Italy
Chianti Wine / Meats / Florence
After Breakfast hit the saddle and rev up our engines / motors for a winding ride to wine country. Time to visit Tuscany's largest cellars with 100's of wines and super Tuscans to try. The flavors / flavors of these wines will leave you wanting more. Remember your riding your engines! Lunch in Panzano with the poetic Butcher famous for his flavors / tasty - meats and foods.

Saddle up again in Florence. The city of birth of Venus, the famous Family Doctors and some of the best artworks of the world. David, Goliath and the wicked Jellyfish are all waiting to say hello and welcome you into this magical city. The famous Palazzo Vecchio, one of the most magnificent cathedrals in Europe - the Duomo, and Ponte Vecchio are just some of the things we will see. Want to buy some real leather and Italian gold? Flavors and Engines know where the locals shop and where the best leather goods are. A walking tour of Florence will show you all the sights and you will get your tastes / flavors of this grand city.

Mount up on our engines / motorbikes and roll over the hills to Piazzale Michelangelo for the views of Florence.

Revving up our engines / motorbikes we head back to Vicopisano for a relaxing evening. Flavors and Engines can give you some ideas for places to eat if you want to night out.

Day 11: Sword in the Rock, Falconry and Wilderness

Eat up this morning before you swing through the curves and bends rolling through the Wild side of Tuscany. We have a full day of trends and curves, knees to the ground as we take our engines to San Galgano. Engines and Flavors want to put your riding skills to this holiday to Tuscany into action.
The Abbey of San Galgano, one of the most evocative places in the itineraries of Tuscan spirituality. The construction of the abbey began in 1218 for the Cistercian monks, who with their network of monasteries revolutionized spirituality by sanctioning the passage from monasticism to hermits to religious life
The place includes two points of attraction; the great roofless Abbey, the hermitage of Monte Siepi where, according to legend, San Galgano retired to live his life as a hermit in 1170. Can you pull it out?

Back into the saddles of our engines / Motorbikes as we head through Tuscany for more flavors / flavors of Tuscany on the wild side as we will ride to Massa Marittima.
Set on a high and isolated hill, the beautiful old town of Massa Marittima stands in a well-preserved city wall, representing one of the most important urban-architectural complexes in Tuscany. The narrow streets that cross the hill lead to a magical place, giving you the chance to take in the beauty of this surprising and timeless place.
We will walk through the square of Massa Marittima, with the beautiful cathedral of San Cerbone and the main buildings of life in an ancient city. Here you can decide what and where you want to taste the flavors / flavors of this medieval city.
After lunch it is back onboard our engines / motorbikes to rev our engines towards Castelnuovo Val di Cecina. Time to explore and stretch our legs and have a coffee or snack.
Time to leave the wild side and ride back to Florence to say goodbye and leave our engines. All on board for wheeler back to Vicopisano.
