The taste of tradition - guided visit to the Agnone dairy
In these places, dairy art was born from the ancient civilization of Transhumance, and has been handed down from father to son since 1662. This tradition spreads pure flavors and the culture of creating cheeses with the same ancient techniques and the same values that animated the ancestors.
Each cheese is a unique piece, shaped by hand with the technique of pasta filata, an ancient creativity for the cheesemakers. The milk is raw, without heat treatments that destroy its nutritional and sensorial integrity.
Itinerary
Guided tour of the laboratory: introduction to the company productive tradition and spinning observation. Visit in the stone vault for the aging of Caciocavallo di Agnone, the main territorial production of the dairy, award-winning cheese during the main national and international competitions.
Every visitor will be assisted in the preparation of a first salt cheese cutter that will bring with it at the end of the experience.
