One of the first churches founded in Lucca by an Irish pilgrim, Fredianus, who later became the first Bishop of Lucca and to atributed a very important miracle, still today celebrated.

The Roman Cardius Maximus, the main Roman road which crosses the city from north to south. Today it's the main shopping street of Lucca.

Piazza Napoleone, also known as Piazza Grande, was created by no other than Elisa Baciocchi Napoleone's sister, who for a short period of time waas the Princess of Lucca and Piombino at the beginning of the 19th century.
