Under Santa Cecilia, there are buildings of the Roman period transformed into a church in the early Christian age (4th-6th century AD), and later in the current great basilica. The church also contains two true masterpieces of medieval art: the apse mosaics, made during the ninth century. and the frescoes in the choir, painted by Piero Cavallini in the mid-13th century.

The second stop is the Basilica of Santa Maria In Trastevere, founded probably by Pope Callisto, in the 3rd century. It was completely rebuilt during the 12th century. The apse was decorated with an extraordinary mosaic showing the Virgin and Christ on the throne.

Finally, San Crisogono, one of the oldest Basilicas in Rome, dating back to 499 A.C. approximately, where we will visit the Secretarium, the Baptistery and the apse of the ancient church placed about 6 meters underground. Recommended for lovers of archeology and the history of art.
