Stop At: Vatican Museums, Viale Vaticano, 00120 Vatican City Italy

Beat the crowds and join our Early Access Vatican Museums small group tour. You will be able to enjoy the famous Vatican galleries and the Sistine Chapel before they open to the crowd at 9am. We will pre-purchase a special early entrance voucher for your group scheduled for 8am, so that you will be among the first people to enter. You will meet our enthusiastic guide and the rest of your group at 7:30am. Whilst you wait to enter the Vatican Museums at 8am, we will administer you headsets to ensure you can clearly hear your guide. Your guide, an expert in art history, will then explain the Sistine Chapel to you using special images to ensure you're up to speed when you reach that part of the tour (explanations are not allowed inside the Sistine Chapel itself) and can admire the beauty of Michelangelo's work.

The early entrance will give you the unique opportunity of fully enjoying the precious artworks housed in the Vatican Museums away from the daily crowds of visitors. In this way, the guide can explain what you see in detail and you can enjoy them as they deserve.

Other interesting Galleries you will visit are the Gallery of the Tapestries, commissioned by Clement VII in the 1500’s and the Gallery of the Candelabra, an 80 meters long gallery with marble candelabra and colored marble columns, inaugurated in the 1700s.

Stop At: Sistine Chapel, Viale Vaticano, 00165 Vatican City Italy

After Vatican Galleries will reach the Sistine Chapel, where you will be amazed by its breathtaking fresco ceiling and by Michelangelo’s Last Judgement. Originally called the “Cappella Magna”, the “big chapel”, it takes its name from Pope Sixtus IV, who restored it in the 15th century. Since then, the chapel has served as a place of both religious and functionary papal activity and today it is the site of the Papal Conclave, the process by which a new pope is selected. Once again, entering before the general opening will allow you to take in the beautiful frescoes and take home with you wonderful memories.
