Savignola, whose name has an Etruscan etymology, was known as a Christian settlement, built around the first half of the seventeenth century. Owned by the Fabbri family since 1780, it is around the 1930s that Paolina, the first to bottle its Reserve in a Bordeaux, it became a key figure in the creation of the Chianti Classico Consortium, making this small company famous. Over the past 35 years, Savignola has been led by his nephew Carlo and his great-grandson Ludovica, who have brought modernity to the company with the re-planting of the vineyards and the construction of the new cellar.

Today Manuela and her husband Luzius are the real protagonist of the winery for this wonderful and ambitious project.
What sets them apart is a careful attention to detail and the will to enhance the different facets of the good wine of our terroir in Chianti Classico.
