2-Day Nikko Sightseeing and Trekking Tour

Explore Ochijuku, the traditional and nostalgic town in Fukushima area. Also, you will have a time to visit Nikko on Day 2.

Itinerary

Day 1: Depart from Asakusa and explore Ochijuku

Pass By: Tobu Tourist Information Center Asakusa, 1-4-1 Hanakawado Tobu Line Asakusa Station 1F, Taito 111-0033 Tokyo Prefecture
Depart from Asakusa Station at

Stop At: Yunokami Onsen, Yunokami, Shimogo-machi, Minamiaizu-gun 969-5206 Fukushima Prefecture
Change trains at Aizu Tajima Station and move to Yunokami Onsen Station. The private vehicle will be ready for pick you up. You will move to your accommodation in Ochijuku.
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Ouchi-juku, Yamamoto Ouchi, Shimogo, Minamiaizu District, Fukushima 969-5207, Japan
Arrive at Ochijuku around 1:30 pm and check-in to your accommodation. Explore Ouchi-juku.

Day 2: Rinnoji Temple and Nikko Toshogu

Pass By: Yunokami Onsen, Yunokami, Shimogo-machi, Minamiaizu-gun 969-5206 Fukushima Prefecture
After having a Japanese styled breakfast at your accommodation. The private vehicle will pick you up at 9:00AM and transfer to Yunokami Onsen Station. You will take a train to Aizu Tajima Station.

Stop At: Shimoimaichi Station Old Overpass, 1110 Imaichi, Nikko 321-1261 Tochigi Prefecture
Change trains at Aizu Tajima Station and move to Shimoimaichi Station. There you will change trains again to Tobu Nikko Station.
Duration: 10 minutes

Pass By: Tobu Nikko Station, 4-3 Matsubaracho, Nikko 321-1406 Tochigi Prefecture
Arrive at Tobu Nikko Station at 12:43pm. Please take a bus or walk to Rinnoji/Nikko Toshogu.

Stop At: Nikko Tosho-gu, 2301 Sannai, Nikko 321-1431 Tochigi Prefecture
The lavishly decorated shrine complex consists of more than a dozen buildings set in a beautiful forest. The shrine is the final resting place of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa Shogunate that ruled Japan for over 250 years until 1868.

Stop At: Rinno-ji Temple, 2300 Sannai, Nikko 321-1431 Tochigi Prefecture
Zen meditation experience or observation of the fire ceremony.
Duration: 1 hour
