Stop At: Senso-ji Temple, 2-3-1 Asakusa, Taito 111-0032 Tokyo Prefecture
Senso-ji temple is a Buddhist temple having a graceful five-storied pagoda and the famous Kaminarimon gate with a huge red lantern. Nakamise shopping arcade in front of the temple is the best place to find Japanese souvenir.

Stop At: Meiji Jingu Shrine, 1-1 Yoyogi Kamizonocho, Shibuya 151-0052 Tokyo Prefecture
A traditional Shinto shrine located in a tranquil forest. In the serine atmosphere, you'll see a magnificent Torii gate, sake barrels as offering to the god and beautiful halls. I'll explain about Shintoism: the main concept, the relation with the other important religion, Buddhism and how it works in everyday life in Japan today.

Harajuku is a fashion capital for Japanese teenagers. Especially Takeshita street, a quarter-mile alley starting from JR Harajuku station, has so many clothes and sweets shops enthusiastically supported by young people.

Sophisticated shopping area full of stylish architectures designed by world-leading architects. Lined with elm trees, it's so pleasant to stroll along the street appreciating beautiful buildings.

Stop At: Tsukiji Jogai Market, 4-16-2 Tsukiji, Chuo 104-0045 Tokyo Prefecture
The famous Tsukiji "wholesale" fish market has gone. But Tsukiji "outer" market: complementary market of the wholesale market still exists and welcomes visitors. You'll see hundreds of small shops selling every kind of food or cooking utensils like Japanese knifes,potteries etc. There're also many casual restaurants, buffets, stalls selling Japanese food you can try while strolling. The biggest feature is the atmosphere of the good old-days. You'll also see many fish stores like ones that used to be in the old Tsukiji "wholesale" fish market.
NOTE: The Tsukiji "wholesale" market moved to Toyosu area in October 2018. In this tour you cannot see tuna auctions that are now held in Toyosu market.
