With this Sakura tour you will be able to enjoy the country side of Japan, and enjoy the cherry blossom like a local without worrying about being packed with tourists. The Nihonmatsu area is located on the northern area of Japan, the cherry blossom blooms later than Tokyo and Kyoto.

Although it is called "Kasumigajo Castle", the official name is "Nihonmatsu Castle"
The park is nationally designated historic site.
Sakura Matsuri(Cherry blossoms festival) will be held from April 10th to May 6th.

Yamanakano Isaburou Sakura
The root is stretched in one direction and the root circumference is 10.9 meters. It is named after Isaburo, who was an elegant person and playing a kite under a tree in the old days.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Kassenba no Shidare Zakura (Sakura), 145 Obayashi, Higashiniidono, Nihonmatsu 964-0301 Fukushima Prefecture

Also called Kassenba Weeping Sakura, you can see the contrast between yellow flowers and pink cherry blossoms. The weeping sakura looks like waterfalls.

Stop At: Sakuranogo Rest Area, Hiraishita-12-2 Higashiniidono, Nihommatsu, Fukushima 964-0301, Japan

Rest here for 15 minutes. Local vegetables and hand made food are sold.
