07:00 your English speaking driver will meet you in the hotel lobby in Aqaba. To easily spot him he holds a sign in your name.

After a two hours drive to Petra, the ticket and guide (optional) will be arranged at the Visitor Centre.

Petra had been the legendary capital of the Nabateans, which dominated the Arabian trade routes. Pass the Siq, a narrow gorge where you get the first glimpse of the Treasury. Other landmarks are the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, the Theatre, Qasr Al Bint. Spend time on your own and for example ascend about 800 stairs to the Monastery El Deir.

Meet your driver at the Visitor Centre again and return to Aqaba.
