Day 2: Discover Amman city tour - Madaba - Mount Nebo Petra
Stop At: Al Balad Downtown Amman, Amman Jordan
Depart from your hotel and begin your tour of the old city of Amman exploring
the Citadel and the Roman Theatre, two of the most popular archaeological sites in the city. Then walk through the old markets, viewing the Al-Husseini Mosque.

Stop At: Madaba Mosaic Map, Inside St. George's Church, Madaba Jordan
Madaba is an ancient town in Jordan, southwest of the capital Amman. Its known for its 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land in the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. The Madaba Archaeological Park preserves the mosaic-rich Church of the Virgin Mary and artifacts from the Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine and Islamic eras. Northwest, the biblical hill of Mount Nebo overlooks the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.

Day 3: Visit Petra- The Rose City of Petra
Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa 77110 Jordan
Petra, or the Rose City of Petra as it is often called, is an ancient rock-carved Nabataean city located in Jordan between the Dead Sea and Red Sea, in the countrys Maan governorate. Such is the historical value of the site, that in 1985 it was officially declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
There is some uncertainty as to the exact age of the Rose City of Petra although most historians believe the city was established around 312 BCE or perhaps even earlier. Interestingly, it remained hidden from the Western world until it was discovered by an explorer who had made his way to Jordan in 1812. In his diary he wrote that he had found a Rose Red City half as old as time, and anyone who has visited the site will surely agree.

Day 6: Amman - Jerash - Ajloun - Dead Sea Amman
Stop At: Jerash Ruins, Jerash Jordan
Jerash is a city in Jordan, north of the capital Amman. Inhabited since the Bronze Age, its known for the ruins of the walled Greco-Roman settlement of Gerasa just outside the modern city. These include the 2nd-century Hadrians Arch, the Corinthian columns of the Temple of Artemis and the huge Forums oval colonnade. The Jerash Archaeological Museum displays artifacts excavated from the site.

Stop At: Ajloun Castle, Ajloun National Park, Jerash 26173 Jordan
Ajloun Castle, also known as Rabad Castle, is a 12th-century Muslim castle situated in northwestern Jordan. It is placed on a hilltop belonging to the Mount Ajloun district, also known as Jabal 'Auf after a Bedouin tribe which had captured the area in the 12th century
