2 Days trip to Kolsay, Kaindy lakes and Charyn canyon from Almaty

There is a great opportunity for two days to visit the beautiful mountain lakes and Martian landscapes of the Charyn Canyon, to plunge into the life of local people, ride horses, try national cuisine, spend the night in a yurt. 

Charyn canyon & Kaindy Lake some most picturesque places and best trips in Almaty region. A lot of visitors of Charyn then sayed that they saw in Kazakhstan small copy of the Grand Canyon. Kaindy Lake - it is amazing sunken forest which was frozen under the cold mountain water.  Another fantastic place in the mountains - 

Kolsay lakes.

The 1 day starts at 5 am. Get by car to the Kolsay 1. Then by foot trekking to the Kolsay lake 2. It takes 7 km to get to the lake in one direction. Possible to organise this way by horses. After Get to the homestay in Saty village for overnight. National dinner and sauna.

The 2 day can starts at 8 am and get by SUV car to the Kaindy Lake. There it will be light trekking to the lake and round near of 2 hours. Stopping at the birch grove. Back way to Saty village for hot lunch. 

Then get to the Charyn canyon near of 1,5 hour. Light trekking to the river near of 2,5 hours. It takes to walk near of 2 km in one direction. During the way to Almaty dinner in uighur's cafe.

Then departure to the Almaty at 9 pm.
