This tour will give you the opportunity to see the steep dark rocks, peppered with cracks, caves, that remines the protective walls of medieval castles. The length of the Charyn canyon is 154 km. The canyon located in the the territory of the Charyn national park along the Charyn river. This is the greatest monument of nature, composed of sedimentary rocks, whose age is about 12 million years. The height of the steep mountains of the Charyn canyon reaches 150-300 m. It is also has been described as the Grand Canyon’s little brother.

Stop At: Charyn Canyon National Park, Charyn Canyon National Park, Almaty Region

08.00 Guide will picl up you from your hotel and you will start your exciting journey.
After 2.5 hours (about 220 km) we will reach Charyn canyon. There would be trekking at about 3 km to get to the Charyn river head.

We will have a picnic at the Charyn river bank

After spending around 4 hours in the canyon we will leave it and drive back to Almaty
