Itinerary

Day 1: Almaty - Charyn canyon - Saty village - Kaiyndy lake -Saty village

Stop At: Charyn Canyon, Charyn National Park, Charyn River Kazakhstan
Charyn Canyon National Park, Charyn Canyon National Park, Almaty Region 08.00 Guide will picl up you from your hotel and you will start your exciting journey. After 2.5 hours (about 220 km) we will reach Charyn canyon. There would be trekking at about 3 km to get to the Charyn river head.
After spending around 2 hours in the canyon we will leave it and drive to Saty village (100 km, 2 hours)

15.00 Departure to Kaiyndy Lake.
Kaiyndy Lake near Almaty is artwork created by nature. Formed in 1911 as a result of the 7.7-magnitude Kebin earthquake (also known as Chon-Kemin earthquake), the natural disaster caused a landslide and rock avalanches that took many lives and destroyed numerous yurts, but formed a magnificent natural dam.

The gorge was blocked and the mountain water flooded coniferous trees. The trunks rise above the lake’s surface, fashioning the mystery. The water’s 6-8 degrees Celsius temperature provides the optimum condition to sustain the trees.

Day 2: Saty village - Kolsay lake 1st - Almaty

Stop At: Kolsai Lake, Kazakhstan

Transfer to the 1st Kolsay Lake. Trek to the 2nd Kolsay Lake is posiible (about 8 km, 3 hours one way). Here you can enjoy horse riding or get to the top by yourself.
Such kind of beauty cannot be found anywhere. Here you can enjoy unsurpassed forest. These lakes are situated in the eastern part of the picturesque Kungei Tau gorge, 300 km from Almaty. Lunch during excursion
Drive back to Almaty.
