11 Day East Africa Wildlife Explorer

Combine Kenya and Tanzania in this 11 day safari for the ultimate East Africa safari which easily blends Kenya’s Masai Mara and Amboseli reserves with Tanzania’s Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 1: Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be met by our safari representative and transferred to The Boma Hotel for an overnight stay on B&B basis.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart by road to Amboseli National Park, arriving at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in Amboseli. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park

Following breakfast at the lodge, depart for a morning game drive. Lunch will be served at the lodge followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to the Kenya/Tanzania boundary at Namanga town where you will be assisted to clear customs and immigration. Proceed by road to Arusha, Tanzania for lunch. Drive to the Ngorongoro, arriving at the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Breakfast will be served at the lodge, followed by the decent into the crater for a game drive. The crater is approximately 20kms across, and 600 meters deep. Return to the lodge for an afternoon of leisure. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, depart with picnic lunches to Serengeti National Park. Arrive at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge in the evening with game viewing en-route. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure upon arrival. Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

Breakfast will be served at the lodge followed by a morning game drive. The Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 8: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Following breakfast, you will be transferred by road to the Kenya/Tanzania border at Isibania town. Enjoy a game drive with picnic lunches en route. Drive to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. Enjoy a game drive to Kichwa Tembo Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy a full day in the Masai Mara Game Reserve following breakfast at the camp. All meals and overnight stay at Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp.

Day 10: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy another full day exploring the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Search for the prides of lions or the wildebeest migration crossing the famous Mara River depending on the season of your travel, Dinner and overnight stay at Kichwa Tembo Camp.

Day 11: Departure

Breakfast will be served at the camp, followed by check out and departure by road back to Nairobi, with game viewing en-route. Lunch will be served at a city restaurant in Nairobi. Afternoon optional shopping and later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight home.
