3-Day Maasai Mara Private Safari at Keekorok Lodge from Nairobi
Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserves western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenyas wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeests migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai Mara is the the wonder of the world.
Itinerary
Day 1: NAIROBI TO MASAI MARA
Stop At: Mara River, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00200 Kenya
Day 1
Start your 3-day adventure with an early pickup from your accommodation within Nairobi or airport. The safari begins at 8 a.m. depending on the hotel. If you arrive on a morning flight, we will be able to pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the starting point.
You will be transferred to Masaai Mara using the Narok route. On your way, you will stop at a view point where you will get a chance to view the Great Rift Valley escarpment and also spot Mt.Longonot, which used to be active but now is dormant. Proceed on the 3-hour drive to the town of Narok, where you will stop for a 15-minute fuel and bathroom break.
Upon arrival to Masaai Mara National Reserve, you will see vast vegetation and also spot some animals like the zebra, giraffe, topi and Thompson gazelle, among many others. After a 1-hour drive you will arrive at the Lodge (KEEKOROK and the staff will brief you about your stay. Lunch will be served at the lodge and later you will do the evening game drives, after which you can settle in for dinner and then sleep.

Day 2: MASAI MARA FULL DAY
Stop At: Mara River, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00200 Kenya
Spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sitted at the banks of Mara river.
Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour at USD10. Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local Masai people.
A balloon safari at a discounted USD 380 per person can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Day 3: MASAI MARA TO NAIROBI

Day 3
Capture the sun rise on the horizon on an early morning game drive as you. Eat a late breakfast and then depart back to Nairobi. Your tour ends with a drop off at your hotel or accommodation of choice.
NOTE : You can add a day in Maasai Mara or Lake Nakuru National Park. This can be arranged at an extra fee.
