The Aberdare National Park is part of the Aberdare Mountain Range, a region of stunning and diverse landscape where jagged peaks soar up to 3,930m and deep ravines cut through the forested slopes. This Kenya game reserve is ideal for seeing wildlife, walking, picnics and trout fishing.

The scenery is spectacular with its mountainous terrain covered in thick tropical forests swathed in mist.

The rainforest is a vital water catchment area with attractive streams and rivers supporting a broad range of wildlife.

Itinerary

Day 1: NAIROBI TO ABERDARES

Stop At: Aberdare National Park, Nyeri Kenya
Meet and Greet when you arrive in Nairobi. One of our representatives will meet you on arrival to brief you on your tour with us during your time in Kenya.

Aberdare National Park is in a cloud forest in some of the higher areas of Kenya's central highlands marked by deep ravines and forested mountain slopes. Because of its altitude -- mostly above 10,000 feet -- it's often shrouded in mist.

Animals often observed in the park include the black rhino, leopard, baboon, black and white colobus monkey and Sykes' monkey. Rarer are lions and the bongo, an elusive forest

You will then be transferred to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. Depending on arrival time, we may get to experience Aberdares

Day 2: EXPLORE ABERDARES

Stop At: Aberdare National Park, Nyeri Kenya
You will have an early morning game viewing drive at Aberdare National Park. Come back to the lodge for breakfast by 8 am.

The day at leisure - swim, tennis and more. After lunch you will be transferred to the Ark Hotel at the heart of the Aberdare.

Enjoy animals coming to you at the viewing deck of the Ark. Enjoy a sun downer at the viewpoint. Dinner & Overnight at the hotel. (Wake up call for Big 4 sighting).

Day 3: ABERDARES TO NAIROBI

After breakfast, we will bid farewell to Aberdares and you will be transferred to Nairobi, where we will drop you off at your hotel or at the airport.
