Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya- Africa. The reserve is located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland.

Wildlife tends to be most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment.

The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November.

There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve.

Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino).

Itinerary

Day 1: Diani- Masai mara

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
You will be picked from your Hotel/Apartment at 0730hrs. You will then fly from Diani to Masai Mara arriving at around 10.30 Am. You will meet our driver / guide with a 4×4 Land cruiser and begin a game drive en route to the Elengata Olerai Camp for check in and lunch. Relax till 3.00 pm where you will proceed for an afternoon game drive till sunset. Masai Mara National Reserve has an area of 1,584 km2 and it’s one of the famous and most visited national reserves in Kenya. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.

Day 2: Explore Masai Mara

Stop At: Mara River, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00200 Kenya
Wake up at 5.30 am for a cup of coffee followed by an early morning game drive and back to the camp for a full breakfast. After breakfast proceed for another game drive visiting Mara River for hippos, crocodiles and the migration point of the wild beasts. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Masai mara national reserve

Stop At: Mara River, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00200 Kenya
Wake up at around 5.30 am for a cup of coffee followed by an early morning game drive and back to the Camp for a full breakfast. After breakfast, proceed for another game drive and back for an early lunch at around 11.30 am. You will be transferred to the airstrip and depart at 1.30 pm to Diani arriving at around 4.00 pm and be transferred to your respective Hotel/Apartment.
