Tsavo is made up of two separate parks, Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park. Located in Coast Province of Kenya in between Nairobi City and Mombasa.

Tsavo is nearly 22,000km2, being the largest national park in Kenya and one of the largest in the world. The park was split into two due to the railway going from Mombasa to the interior of Kenya.

Itinerary

Day 1: Diani/Mombasa – Tsavo East

Stop At: Tsavo East, Voi Mageso Chember, Tsavo National Park East 00200 Kenya
Pick up from the hotel / apartment at 0530 hrs in the morning and then drive along Mombasa – Nairobi highway for 155 kilometers. Stopover for coffee and proceed to Tsavo East National Park. You will enter the park through Bachuma Gate. Begin the game drive en route to Aruba Dam.

This is the chance to see wild animals such as lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, cheetah, and giraffe among others. Proceed with the game drive en route to Ashnil Aruba where you will check in and have lunch at around 13:00. Relax until 15:00. After which, you depart for afternoon game drive until 18:30. You back to the camp for dinner and overnight at Ashnil aruba

Day 2: Tsavo East – Tsavo West

Stop At: Lunatic Line, Mageso chember, Tsavo National Park West 00200 Kenya
Leave for the morning game drive, come back for breakfast and later, leave the lodge / camp towards Tsavo West National Park. Game drive en route to Rhino Valley Lodge. Check-in for lunch and after lunch, relax by swimming pool, cool your body, and watch the animals in the nearby water hole. Later, go for the evening game drive, visiting the Rhino Sanctuary until 18:00 and then come back to for dinner and overnight at Rhino valley Lodge.

Day 3: Tsavo West – Diani/Mombasa

Stop At: Lunatic Line, Mageso chember, Tsavo National Park West 00200 Kenya
Very early in the morning, take your breakfast and leave the lodge / camp to Mzima Springs for hippos and crocodiles. Take your nature walk at Mzima Springs where all the water from Mount Kilimanjaro come underground then burst from the volcanic lava rocks, therefore, making a big pool of water where you will find hippotamus, crocodiles, and different kinds of birds. After walking at Mzima Springs, come back to your bus and drive out of Tsavo West National Park to Nairobi – Mombasa highway. Stop for extra lunch at Voi and then drive back to your coastal hotel.
