Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya- Africa. The reserve is located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland.

Wildlife tends to be most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment.

The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November.

There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve.

Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino).

Itinerary

Day 1: WILSON,MOMBASA,DIANI -MASAI MARA

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
You will be picked from JKIA airport upon arrival then transferred to Wilson airport. You will then fly from Wilson to Masai Mara at around 14.45 Pm/15:00 Pm. You will meet our driver / guide with a 4×4 Land cruiser and begin a game drive en route to the Ashnil Mara Camp for check in and dinner. Relax in the camp while enjoying the view of animals and the sunset. Masai Mara National Reserve has an area of 1,584 km2 and it’s one of the famous and most visited national reserves in Kenya.

Day 2: EXPLORE MASAI MARA

Stop At: Mara River, Maasai Mara National Reserve 00200 Kenya
Wake up at 5.30 am for a cup of coffee followed by an early morning game drive and back to the camp at around 8:30 am for a full breakfast. After breakfast proceed for another game drive visiting Mara River for hippos, crocodiles and the migration point of the wild beasts. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: MASAI MARA

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
Wake up at around 5.30 am for a cup of coffee followed by an early morning game drive to spot the wild cats and back to the Camp for a full breakfast. After breakfast, proceed for a full game drive to explore the Mara game reserve and have the chance to interact with the Maasai community, learn the Maasai culture and tradition; you will have a chance to buy artifacts from the Maasai village.

Day 4: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI (Wilson)/DIANI-Ukunda

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
Wake up at around 5.30 am for a cup of coffee followed by an early morning game drive and back to the Camp for a full breakfast. After breakfast, proceed for another game drive to exceed your expectations en-route to the airstrip to catch your flight back to Nairobi or you may fly direct to Diani-Ukunda.
