Day Trip Ol Pejeta Conservancy And Ngare Ndare Forest From Nairobi or Nanyuki

This is a Day trip to Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Ngare Ndare Forrest. We will pick you and drop you off from anywhere in Nairobi or Nanyuki. Other locations can be pre arranged. We will stop at the Equator line. We will arrive at the entrance of Ol Pejeta Conservancy. During your game drive, you will have the opportunity to view the big five, Ol Pejeta hosts the last of the northern white Rhinos! Thats right the last northern white rhinos in the world. There is also a chimpanzee sanctuary where these primates have been rescued from all over the world and brought here to be rehabilitated. After the game drives we will drive to Ngare Ndare Forrest. The famous waterfalls. the forest is home to 7 waterfalls. We will then go for the canopy walk  It is 10 meters high and 450 meters long, being the longest and highest canopy walk in East Africa. We will also be able to swim in the natural pool at Ngare Ndare Forrest. After we have explored as much as we can we will then head back to Nairobi.

Stop At: Equator Marker, Nyeri - Nanyuki Road, Nanyuki Town, Nanyuki Municipality 10400 Kenya

We will stop at the Equator line. The Nanyuki town, which is right in the center of Kenya is known mainly for its equator point and hoardes of locals and tourists alike pay a visit just to stand on the equator. But, for those who are technically interested, locals arrange for an experiment to depict how the Coriolis effect works.

Stop At: Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Nanyuki Private Bag, 10400 Kenya

Around 09:30 you will arrive at the entrance of Ol Pejeta Conservancy. During your game drive, you will have the opportunity to view the big five, as well as Kenya’s usual plains animals. Ol Pejeta hosts the last of the northern white Rhinos! Thats right the last northern white rhinos in the world. There is also a chimpanzee sanctuary where these primates have been rescued from all over the world and brought here to be rehabilitated.

For lunch, you can enjoy a picnic at the marshland which is a favorite haunt for elephant and water buck. Or you can choose to go for lunch at Sweetwaters Serena camp.

Please note lunch is not included in the package you can choose to bring your own lunch or lunch at Sweetwaters Serena Camp the price of the buffet lunch is $25 per person.

You can also choose to have lunch in Nanyuki town or on the way to Ngare Ndare Forrest.

We will stop briefly in Nanyuki town for any refreshments you might want to buy.

On getting to the forest, an armed ranger and a guide will be assigned to you. After a short briefing about the forest and Ngare Ndare Forest Trust, we will set out on a 7km hike to the famous waterfalls. the forest is home to 7 waterfalls. The grandeur of the waterfalls will leave you speechless.

We will continue with our hike to a much smaller waterfall but the beauty of this one is that swimmers can dive into the pool.

We will then go for the the canopy walk. It is 10 meters high and 450 meters long, being the longest and highest canopy walk in East Africa. This is peoples favorite part of the trip and the wobbly bridge makes it all the more exciting. The forest is vast and you might just spot an elephant or a leopard
