Stop At: David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Mbagathi Road Kws Workshop Entrance - Nairobi National Park, Nairobi 00503 Kenya

The Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage is located near Nairobi National Park. This orphanage for Elephant Calves and Rhinos from all over Kenya was founded and still managed by Daphne Sheldrick, the widow of one of Kenya’s best known Game Wardens David Sheldrick.

At this time the calves are being exercised and bathed and visitors are free to watch. This is a good center for general information on Elephants and their Conservation.

You also have an option of adopting an elephant calf at $50 extra.

Your next stop will be the famous Giraffe Centre, where you'll have the rare opportunity to come face toface with these beautiful creatures. Lucky visitors might even get a kiss from these unique creatures.
