A visit to this baby Elephant Orphanage will give you an opportunity to observe these young calves being fed, bathed and exercised. This is a good center for general information on Elephants and their conservation

Our Driver /Guide will pick you up from your Nairobi Hotel/Airport then proceed to elephant orphanage to see young orphaned elephants and learn how they are being rehabilitated. There is a keeper who will give a talk about the elephants, where they came from, how they are getting on, and how some of the previous orphans are progressing. You can get really close to the elephants. The orphanage also takes in rhinos and so if you are lucky you will get the chance to see a young rhino.When the calves grows up/mature they are moved to Tsavo, where they are carefully reintroduced into wild herds
