KENYA Plains Safari

This tour take you through two of the major parks of Kenya. The wildlife safari starts at Masai Mara – Tsavo East. The safari allows you to see animals in their natural habitat. Though you go to three national parks in this safari. Each national park has it uniqueness.

Tsavo East National Park The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. These, along with the 300 kilometer long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi Arrival

Stop At: Nairobi National Park, Langata Road, Nairobi Kenya
You begin your magical holiday today as you board your flight to Kenya - the heart of African safari!! On arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you are met by a Silverbird Airport Representative and transferred to the hotel.

Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
After breakfast depart to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley. En route enjoy the beautiful scenery. Arrive at your Camp in time for lunch and check in at the lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive. Spotting lions, cheetahs and other spectacular predators is the highlight of your day. This evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at your lodge.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Narok 00100 Kenya
After breakfast, proceed on a full-day game-viewing drive to search for the myriad species of game that make this reserve their home. If you are lucky, you can witness the kill in action, moment by moment, right in front of your unbelieving eyes! After a sumptuous lunch at your lodge, proceed for another exciting game drive, where you can expect to see the famous 'Big 5'. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at your Lodge.

Day 4: Tsavo East National park (4 hrs drive)

Stop At: Tsavo East, Voi Mageso Chember, Tsavo National Park East 00200 Kenya
After breakfast, you will begin your magical Safari from the pickup point and drive to Tsavo East National park the theater of the wild. The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. Day 5: Tsavo East National Park- Nairobi

Stop At: Nairobi National Park, Langata Road, Nairobi Kenya
After breakfast you will drive to Nairobi to arrive in time for early hours depending on your flights schedule. You will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back to Nairobi.
