This tour is meant for clients that do much enjoy to go through cultural backgrounds in different places. We first visit the coffee farms and get to know where tea and coffee are grown and have a taste of the original coffee. Thereafter visit the Bomas of Kenya that shows guest each and every tribe in Kenya and their way of living and lifestyles back in the ancient days.

Itinerary

Stop At: Kiambethu Farm, Girls School Rd Tigoni, Limuru 00217 Kenya

Then take a walk in the indigenous forest with our resident Kenyan guide who will identify the plants and explain how they are traditionally used. Look out for the Colobus monkeys close up and wander in the gardens which are home to a wide variety of birds and flowers.

Return to the house to enjoy a pre-lunch drink on the verandah with sweeping views across the tea fields to the Ngong Hills. Enjoy your three course buffet lunch from our set menu prepared with vegetables from the garden and desserts are topped with cream from our herd of Channel Island cows.

The Bomas Harambee Dancers are the country’s national dance company par excellence, proudly representing the beauty and diversity of Kenya’s music and dance traditions since 1973.Local and international visitors can experience the delightful sounds and movements of Kenya in our daily cultural performances and/or add a note of culture to their events by hiring the dance troupe for an outside performance.

The troupe’s repertoire consists of over 50 dances from different ethnic communities. With live percussion, string and wind instruments, and diverse, authentic and energetic dancing, Bomas Harambee Dancers will take you on an enchanting journey through Kenya.
