Itinerary

Day 1: Kisumu City - Masai Mara Game Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
We leave Kisumu in the morning and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley as we proceed to Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. We shall have a short rest then leave for an afternoon game drive. Masai Mara boasts for unlimited game concentration and here we are for yet another big wildlife presentation. We will drive back to Keekorok Lodge for dinner and the night.

Day 2: Full day in Masai Mara Game Reserve

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
An early wake-up call for breakfast to be followed by a full day game drive in search of more wildlife and birds in the Mara. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savannah namely; Lion, Cheetah, Silver-backed Jackal, Spotted Hyena and a sizeable number of vultures. After all these activities, we will drive back to Keekorok Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Masai Mara - Kisumu City

Stop At: Maasai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Mara National Reserve, Rift Valley Province
This morning we will have breakfast or for those who are considering doing a hot air balloon flight (Optional Extra – USD $ 550 person) and this is to be followed by a visit to Masai village (Optional Extra – USD $ 25 per person) for a cultural experience. From here, we will now leave the Masai Mara countryside and drive back to Kisumu arriving in the late evening.
Meal Plan: {B} lunch will be at own cost.
