Stop At: Tsavo East, Voi Mageso Chember, Tsavo National Park East 00200 Kenya
If you are in Malindi or Watamu, or will be there soon, take this one day trip to Travo East National Park. The park is not far from Malindi or Watamu and offers some of the best wildlife viewing in the wild. In Tsavo East National Park, all the Big 5 are found. There are so many elephants through out the park and most of them have the red-dust coating on them, making them seem read in colour, against the semi arid dry background. Lions can be easily spotted even though the other big cats may be elusive. You will see plenty of giraffes, buffalo and Zebra.
