Full Day - Trek to Tad Sae Waterfalls and Villages
One day hiking through jungle and rice-paddies to hill-tribe villages topped off with swimming at Tad Se waterfall
• Tad Sae waterfall is an impressively wide set of falls, with turquoise water gushing through the jungle over limestone rocks into a large pool where people can splash around.
• Youll hike through stunning landscapes of jungle with a backdrop of Karst mountains, visit and eat lunch in a traditional Khmu village.
※Tad Sae Waterfalls not available on dry season can be low or dry water. It rains little this year. After December, there will be little water in Tad Sae waterfall.

Itinerary
Your tour experience begins with a transportation service pick up from your accommodation between 8:30 am 9:00 am, we head off our way south to Ban Long Or. Cross the Nam Khan River by boat to the opposite village Ban Suan Dala which has all three ethnic groups: the Lao Loum, Khmu, and Hmong. After short stop at the village, we begin 2 hours trek through beautiful jungle, rice paddies. Our first destination is a Khmu village Ban Hoay Fai. We will have a lunch break in the village and have an opportunity to learn about traditional culture and life of the Khmu people.
After lunch break, we will continue another 40 min walking to Tad Sae Waterfall. Each rainy season these falls erupt with life as the extra water from the mountains plunge over the flat rocks. The natural pools at the base of the waterfall are a must for a swim. (Zip line are optionally available by purchasing ticket there)
We stay 2 hours in the waterfall and take a boat to the opposite village Ban Aen. From there, we go back to Luang Prabang by vehicle. (4:00-5:00PM)
