Al Mansouri Mosque or The great Mosque is the most important, largest and the oldest mamluk monument in the city of Tripoli , after the conquest of Tripoli by the mamluks , sultan achraf Khalil the son of sultan qualaoun built the Mosque over the ruins of the old crusader church Marie De La Tour.
the mosque contains Islamic mamluk architecture as long as some western architecture from the remains church.
The 700 years old Minbar (Pulpit) still stands inside the mosque.

Visitors will have a walk and enjoy the ottomans and french monuments and have a coffee in one of the oldest coffee shops in town.
