Start with a short tour through the Old Crafts Workshop. Craft workshop-exposition (“live museum”) is interesting even without the working craftsmen: tools and wares are exhibited so that you can see the work process. History of Vilnius city craftsmanship is presented in the workshop dating back to the times of Grand Duke Gediminas, who invited craftsmen from all over Europe. It is a great place to feel the history of old Vilnius and take part of it with you.

Let's continue visiting manufactury "Jurate" and being introduced to Linen Way. It is a unique opportunity to discover the linen heritage and traditions in Lithuania. You will learn the story of flax / linen traditions: history, geography, properties of flax fibre, vegetation cycle and production methods.

Next stop - Glassmakers and their stained glass making presentation. During the presentation you will learn about the origins of glass and stained glass art. You will be introduced to the main techniques, used in stained glass making, learn how to use glass cutting tools, special paints, glazes and other kind of special materials. You will have a special tour to the stained glass museum that is opened in 16th century cellars.

Last stop - Art center of Baltic Amber. The Amber gallery-museum presents an amber road. Special value of the amber consist of inclusions. Very important object in the museum is sanctum of the pagans. It tells us about ritualistic places of pagans and the rites. If You want to know amber closer, You will get a chance to touch a natural amber piece and to taste a specific amber drink. Also You will find out few tests, which will help You to recognize real amber from the fake one.
