After breakfast depart for the Cameron Highlands from hotel at 7am (Drive time 4 hours) enroute bonus stop at the famous Batu Caves - a limestone outcrop. Climb 272 steps into the temple of Hindu Deity, who is honored during the Hindu festival of Thaipusam every year. The journey continues to the Cascading Waterfalls for a photo shoot and a place where locals go for a cool dip. Souvenirs, tribal handicrafts, strange herbs, various fruits not forgetting aphrodisiacs are available at the shops.

First stop will be Lata Iskandar. Popular jungle waterfall with nearby food & craft vendors & a small rock pool for wading.

Cameron Valley Tea House is a must-visit place when you are in Cameron Highlands. Scenic, tranquil & cool fresh air! The road journey to the Cameron Valley is quite an adventure itself. Cameron Valley has a total of 8000 acres planted with tea. The largest tea plantation in Southeast Asia. Road is narrow and winding. Put narrow roads aside, the view of green rolling hills, with the neat regular rows of tea plants, is truly breathtaking & refreshing.

Then visit to the Butterfly Farm and Insectarium is memorable. It’s a secret paradise that hosts 5.000 butterflies that dance on ferns and scented flowers. The Farm Guide will mesmerize you with a tour of the farm.

Butterfly Farm-Butterfly Garden is a live insect gallery and zoological garden located at Kea Farm, nestled along the main road 3km after Brinchang town or 5km from Tanah Rata (just down the road from Copthorne Hotel). One of Cameron Highland's oldest tourist attractions, Butterfly Garden features a large enclosure erected along a hill slope that contains butterflies and live insects displayed in aquariums. Visitors may view beetles, mantids and phasmids of different shapes and sizes along with other native and exotic creatures. The park also has a tortoise pen, scorpion pond, reptile exhibit (mostly snakes and lizards), aviary and small petting zoo.
