Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Genting Highlands - Transfer

Meet and greet at the Arrival Hall using the paging system. You’ll be guided to the parking area and have your luggage loaded. You’ll then be off on your way to the Genting Highlands using the Putrajaya Way and then into Outer Ring Road into Gombak, Karak Highway, skipping Kuala Lumpur City Traffic.

The journey will take up to 2 hours. The last leg climbing up Genting Mountain will be hilly and winding but the air will be cleaner and colder. Enjoy the beautiful green flora and fauna along the hilly climb. At certain juncture you will notice the mist surrounding the mountain.

You will pass by GohTong Jaya, Genting Highlands Township, this is where the Genting Skyway Station is located. You will have the option of taking the Skyway or continuing the transfer to the top. Luggage remains with owner at all times.

KLIA1 and KLIA2 transfer to Genting Highlands in an air-condition vehicle with an English speaking driver. Travel in comfort without worries of long taxi queues, unfamiliar drivers, or luggage space.

Enjoy the scenic scenery from KLIA Airport all the way direct to Genting Highlands.

The transfer route will avoid entering the city of Kuala Lumpur, and instead will be using the Outer Ring Road from North South Highway Sungai Besi into Karak Highway. This is to avoid traffic and ultimately get you to your destination quicker!

The journey will take about 2 hours, driving under the legal speed limit. Once you’ve reached the foothill and begun the climb up to Genting Highlands, you will pass by the first police check point. Enjoy the scenic scenery, green flora and fauna. The air will become colder and fresher, and you are encouraged to open the window to soak in the crisp air.

Midway through is the Genting GohTong Jaya Township. This is where the Skyway is located. You will be given the choice to take Genting Skyway up to the top or you can take the vehicle all the way up to the top. However you will have to bring along your own luggage to ensure it doesn’t get lost.
