Come join this educational tour of the nature and environment at the Lake Gardens. The Lake Gardens covers 91.6 hectares, full of beautiful scenery and parks for all to enjoy.

This is a fantastic tour for families as there is a playground that is popular among children. If playgrounds aren’t your thing then don’t worry because there is something for everyone at the Lake Gardens. Get in touch with the environmentalist in you by getting to know over 3,000 birds at the walk-in aviary in the KL Bird Park within the Lake Gardens or simply enjoy a leisurely walk and take in the peaceful scenery.

Your day will begin at 9:15am with a hotel pick up. You will then be taken to the Lake Gardens where you can experience a range of wonderful and peaceful activities. This educational tour is great for all ages and has activities that can cater to all interests.

You will be given the opportunity to walk around the Lake Gardens and soak in the scenery, or possibly take your children to the playground where the entire family can take part in some quality family time.

You’ll be able to get in touch with the environmentalist in you by getting to know over 3,000 birds at the walk-in aviary in the KL Bird Park within the Lake Gardens. After enjoying your time with your new colorful, feathery friends you can stop by the Hornbill café, which is located just next to the KL Bird Park’s main entrance. While a spotting of a Hornbill is not guaranteed, the café does serve sandwiches, soups and pasta as well as a kids’ menu for the little ones who really love tea time snacks.

If you are game for more of God’s flying creations, there is the KL Butterfly Park within the Lake Gardens too which is home to 6,000 from 120 species. The KL Butterfly Park is home to 15,000 plants to create a natural rainforest environment for the butterflies.

If you’ve had enough of birds and butterflies fluttering around you, the beautiful orchid and hibiscus gardens would be the perfect stops for a breezy stroll. These are both completely free of charge!

There is also the National Monument that is close to the Lake Gardens which was built in the commemoration of those who died fighting for the nation’s freedom.

Once the day is complete you will be taken back to your hotel.
