Me.reka is a one of a kind space with 7 different labs to make almost anything you can imagine. This activity is custom curated to fit your interests in one of the following labs below:
- An Arts & Crafts Station to get crafty.
- A Sustainable Fashion Lab where ethical fashion designs are made from old seatbelts and kimonos.
- An Electronics Lab that mills your own PCB and everything you need to build your own microcontroller.
- A Fab! Lab to explore wood and metal design. You can even learn how to weld here if you're interested!
- The Design Lab equipped with 3D printers & laser engravers to make that perfect personalize.

You will not find such an experience offered anywhere as unique as this one.

Itinerary

Me.reka is a playground for any maker. It comes fully equipped with 7 labs to unleash your imagination into reality.

The idea of the experience is a personally curated creative learning experience through making something awesome in one of the Me.reka labs. First, I will share examples of projects that you can get involved with at Me.reka from making your own Brocolli Burger to designing a Smart LED Lamp. Unlike any usual workshop, this unique experience is designed from the ground up with your suit your mood and colour. So what will you make?

We will start the experience with a tour through the space while discussing the concept of a community hub and its impact in the 21st century. There will be makers in every lab working on projects and we can talk to them about what they are working to create to learn about what the future of making entails. Once you are done, you will be assigned to your lab manager who will work with you on your creative project. Whether its a laser engraved portrait or just a class on how to work with power tools, I'll do my best to make it a one of a kind experience that you will never forget.
