Niah National Park

Known for the site where a 40,000 year old human remains were discovered, Niah National Park offers jungle walk, Iban longhouse and cave experiences.

Niah National Park provides some interesting and impressive sights. The area was a major centre of human settlement as early as 40,000 years ago, and features one of the world’s largest cave entrances, Palaeolithic and Neolithic burial sites and iron-age cave paintings.

Transfer to Niah National Park which takes a 1 ½ hrs drive to the Park. Upon arrival, take a boat to cross the Niah River and visit Niah Museum.

Traders Cave, The Great Cave

After museum visit, proceed on 3 KM plank walk for about 45 minutes to the Traders Cave, The Great Cave.

Painted Cave

At the Painted Cave you are about to see the prehistoric wall drawings as well as the preserved remains of the STONE AGED PEOPLE dating back to about 40,000-year-old. Return journey on the same plank walk to Niah National Park HQ.

Stop At: Tusan Beach, Miri 98000 Malaysia

After lunch at Niah Town, proceed to Tusan Beach, which is famous for the white and clean sandy beach with a gentle slope and fascinating South China Sea and sunset view. Among the attractions in Tusan Beach is the rock formation which resembles that of a horse drinking water. There are a few hawker stalls selling all sorts of Halal BBQ foods, some locals cakes, coconut drinks and the famous Tusan ice cream during evening time and return to Miri.
