At The Habitat, you will get a chance to explore their Virgin Rainforest, Nature Walk and you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one of the world's largest squirrel species - the Giant Black Squirrel (Ratufa bicolour). You will also get to chance to walk at Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk whereby you will enjoy and witness the sunset view from here. It is 100m in length and is the highest viewing platform in Penang offering 360-degree panoramic views of the island and the mainland, including Gunung Jerai (Kedah Peak), the paddy fields of Kedah, the ‘rice bowl of Malaysia,’ and on a clear day all the way north to Langkawi.

Today you will discover a different side of Penang Hill. At The Habitat, you will get a chance to explore their Virgin Rainforest, Nature Walk and you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one of the world's largest squirrel species - the Giant Black Squirrel (Ratufa bicolour).

We will start the journey through their Nature Trail, where you will come across numerous rest areas set in various themed gardens such as the Fern, Climber Corner, Ginger and Fragrant. Rest at our Golden Bromeliad and Orchid Pavilions and take a moment to reflect and take in the sights, sounds and smells of the rain forest. Take a seat at one of our Giant Swings and enjoy the cool breeze as you take in the breath-taking views of our Golden Valley at sunset. Thereafter continue to Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk whereby you will enjoy and witness the sunset view from here.
